Who. What. Where. When. Why.
Sight. Smell. Sound. Taste. Touch.

These are just a few ways we tell our stories. Our words try to convey texture in order to bring our readers into the room with us. Our words try to convey experience, both the physicality of our plotlines and the emotional impetus that moves our story forward.

Sometimes our stories are grand. Sometimes they are steeped with meaning and revelation. But more often, our stories are simple, everyday life. The humdrum mundane reality of being human. What follows on these pages is just that: the recollections of a twenty-something Seattleite trying to figure out the what and the why of life — and the vain attempt to express it coherently.
